The Rental Guide System Application Programming Interface (RGSAPI) is a software suite that provides online booking for holiday rental websites and hotels. The RGSAPI is independent of any design so clients can design their website in the manner they prefer and then utilise our system to manage their availability, customers, partners and bookings.
What are the advantages of using the RGSAPI over building our own system or using an affiliate? We find that for most of our customers, price is an overriding factor. Building your own reservation system, testing it and ultimately rolling it out for your business can be costly, not to mention time consuming. The RGSAPI provides a robust, scalable and customisable (over 150 configuration options control how the system operates) online booking system. The system, as standard, integrates with a number of established hotel management software suites and payment processors however we can provide integrations with other software / payment processors for a nominal fee.
The online booking system can be white-labelled so that it appears to be built specifically for (or even by) your company. In addition, the booking system implements industry leading practices to maximise conversions. All customer communication is solely branded with your company.
The system can be tightly integrated with the front-end of your website (e.g. because the RGSAPI manages pricing, availability and special offers), this is presented to potential customers far earlier in the booking chain than would be possible with a bolt-on booking system or an affiliate processor.
The RGSAPI is built on a LAMP system (Linux, Apache, mySQL and PHP). You must have a server capable of running at least PHP4 in order to use the RGSAPI.
