Celtic Productions provides a roster that integrates with the Timeware © time and attendance software. Our roster system comes in 2 forms, an Excel based roster and a web-based roster. Our roster system is solely distributed in the Republic of Ireland by
Irish Time Computing Ltd. The roster system itself has numerous features including the ability to flag unauthorised absences, worked days that are not rostered, incorrect schedules and over/under-rostered so that company costs can be kept under control. What is the difference between the Excel based roster system and the web-based roster system? Some companies prefer to use the Excel roster system if their employees are already familiar with using Excel or if they have an existing Excel file with their roster which requires integration. Excel has numerous advantages including the fact that there are very few dependencies so installation is quite straightforward however Excel doesn't have the validation or flexibility that comes with the web-based roster system.
